Enjoy an overnight in Denver before embarking on a two-day journey onboard Rocky Mountaineer, travelling between Denver and Moab, with extraordinary landscapes including vast canyons, natural archways and enchanting hoodoos. The journey is filled with highlights best seen by train and includes an overnight stay in Glenwood Springs.  The tour then continues with visits to Bryce Canyon and Zion National Park before finishing in Las Vegas. Departs October 10.

ITINERARY

Day 1 - Tuesday, October 10: Denver Airport to Denver Hotel

Arrive into Denver and join the group for a one-time group transfer to your downtown hotel. Check-in to your accommodations and spend the rest of the day exploring all that Denver has to offer.

- Free time in Denver

Day 2 - Wednesday, October 11: Denver to Glenwood Springs

Depart Denver and travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer. Cross the Continental Divide as you take in the spectacular views of rugged canyons and the Colorado River before arriving at the resort town of Glenwood Springs. Today's highlights include Moffatt Tunnel, Big Ten Curve, Gross Reservoir Dam as well as Byers, Gore and Glenwood Canyons. Breakfast and lunch will be served onboard. Your expected arrival into Glenwood Springs is between 5:00 PM and 6:30 PM.

Day 3 - Thursday, October 12: Glenwood Springs to Moab

Depart Glenwood Springs and travel onboard Rocky Mountaineer.  Cross the Colorado-Utah border with stunning mountain views in the background. Red sandstone landscapes will emerge as you approach Moab, the gateway to Arches and Canyonlands National Parks. Today's highlights include Parachute Creek, Mount Logan, Ruby Canyon, and Book Cliffs. Breakfast will be served onboard. Your expected arrival into Moab is between 12:00 PM and 1:00 PM.

Day 4 - Friday, October 13: Arches National Park

This morning tour Arches National Park. The unique geology of the area created the highest concentration of natural arches in the world with over 2,000 named arches within the park boundary. You will visit the park’s highlights including Balance Rock, The Windows and Delicate Arch Viewpoint.

Enjoy an afternoon on your own to experience Moab's quaint downtown village and choose from numerous restaurants for lunch and dinner.

Later tonight, join the group for a private Stargazing Experience as you join local astronomers to explore the wonders of the night sky and our universe. 

Breakfast is included at your hotel.

Day 5 - Saturday, October 14: Bryce Canyon

After breakfast at your hotel, depart Moab and Travel through the town of Green River and the San Rafael Swell on your way to Capitol Reef National Park for touring and a picnic lunch under old growth cottonwood trees. Highlights this morning include Scenic Highway 12, incredible views of Capitol Reef, Grand Staircase – Escalante National Monument and more. In the late afternoon, tour Bryce Canyon National Park, home to the largest collection of hoodoos in the world.

Check into your hotel located just outside the park.

This evening, join the group for some wonderful western food and entertainment at Ebenezer’s Barn and Grill.

- Travel along the Scenic Highway 12 with views of Capitol Reef and Grand Staircase - Escalante National Monument

Day 6 - Sunday, October 15: Bryce Canyon to Zion National Park

After breakfast at your hotel, return to Bryce Canyon National Park for a morning view.  Then take a short drive to see Utah's oldest and most famous national park, Zion National Park. Visit the towering mountains and red canyons.

Later in the afternoon, arrive in the gateway town of Springdale and check in to your hotel. Dinner will be on your own from a variety of local restaurants, and the rest of the evening is free for you to explore the local town.

Day 7 - Monday, October 16: Zion National Park to Vegas

After breakfast, return to Zion National Park for additional sightseeing.  Enjoy lunch together at a local restaurant before you arrive at your final destination, Las Vegas. The rest of the day is free to explore and enjoy all that Las Vegas has to offer on your own.

Day 8 - Tuesday, October 17:
