NEW DATES COMING SOON
A twelve-day tour exploring the Indigenous heritage, Viking character, Basque initiative, French influence and Celtic roots of Newfoundland and Labrador. Our program begins at Deer Lake where we coach through the magnificent wilderness of Gros Morne National Park to Hawkes Bay and the Port au Choix Interpretation Centre. A ferry across Iceberg Alley to Labrador with its Red Bay Basque focus before continuing, first to wander the splendid Viking settlement at L’Anse aux Meadow, then Gander, the Kittiwake Coast and the Avalon Peninsula. Bay Bulls will offer the traditional whale and puffin watching experience before ending at colourful St. John’s. Throughout, we will experience the music, cuisine, culture and hospitality that is the unique fabric of “The Rock”. Michael Quinn will be our host.
The option of “Land Only” or “Flight Included” and details will be available post COVID-19.
