Day 1 - Wednesday, October 17:
Arrive in New York City at your leisure and check into the Crowne Plaza Times Square Manhattan for a 5-night stay. We gather in the lobby of our hotel at 6 PM to transfer by taxi to our specially selected restaurant where we will enjoy the first exceptional foodie experience of the trip, dinner at restaurant. Return to the hotel following dinner.
Day 2 - Thursday, October 18:
Buffet breakfast at the hotel before meeting our executive bus with private local guide to embark on a full morning’s part walking, part coach tour of the “Big Apple”. Sights to include the Rockefeller Centre, United Nations building, Central Park, Columbus Circle, The Financial District, Little Italy, Chinatown, Soho and much more.The afternoon will be free for individual pursuits.
This evening will be the opening night of the New York Wine
Experience. Tickets to tomorrow night’s “Critics Choice Wine
Tasting Event” are included with the package but you can add
on an additional ticket for tonight’s opening which will feature
wines that scored 90 points or higher from the world’s great wine
producing regions (approximately $495.00USD) or upgrade
to the full weekend package which will also include day long
seminars with unique tastings of great wines from around
the world (Upgrade for the weekend package approximately
$1995.00 USD based on 2017 prices). For participants that have
taken the additional dinner or Weekend Complete Package, there
is a “Critic’s Choice Tasting” this evening at the Marriott Marquis,
entry will be 6:30 pm.
For participants not adding to the Wine Experience, this evening
is free to spend as you like. May we suggest theatre tickets or
perhaps dinner at another of New York’s exceptional restaurants.

reservations, Broadway tickets or any other New York Experience
you might have in mind. Please note theatre tickets should be
booked well in advance to obtain the best seats and prices.
Day 3 - Friday, October 19:
Participants that have opted for the weekend package will spend the day attending the seminars and tastings. For participants not attending today’s Wine Experience we suggest:
• A food tour of Brooklyn
• A visit to one of New York City’s amazing museums
• A little retail therapy on Fifth Avenue
• A stroll across the Brooklyn Bridge or the Skyline
• A tour of the Lincoln Centre
• A visit to the World Trade Centre Memorial
• A cooking class at the International Culinary Center (formerly the French Institute)
More details on the above options will be offered once the departure is guaranteed.
At 6PM we gather as a group in the lobby of the hotel to make our
way to the Marriott Marquis where we have reserved VIP tickets to
this evenings “Critic’s Choice Grand Tasting” event. A complete list of
wineries, speakers etc. will be available Spring 2018. As a means of
reference a list of wineries that attended the event in 2017, and should
be similar, can be emailed to participants who request it.
Day 4 - Saturday, October 20:
Weekend package participants will be attending the Wine Experience as well as the Grand Award Banquet in the evening. Clients not attending the seminars will have another full day and evening to enjoy the sights of the city.
Day 5 - Sunday, October 21:
This morning instead of breakfast at the hotel we will enjoy another fabulous foodie experience when we embark on a food tour of the Chelsea neighborhood including the local market. Following the tour we can walk off the fabulous New York bites with a stroll through Central Park or a little last minute shopping on Fifth Avenue. This evening at 5PM we gather in the lobby of the hotel before departing by coach to Pocantico Hills where we will enjoy the fnal foodie experience of the trip, a six-course tasting menu at the Blue Hill restaurant at Stone Barns. “Sourcing from the surrounding felds and local farms, Blue Hill highlights the abundance of the Hudson Valley. There are no menus at Blue Hill. Instead, guests are offered a multitaste feast featuring the best offerings from feld and market.”

Day 6 - Monday, October 22:
Breakfast at the hotel marks the end of the tour. Safe travels with your onward journey.
