Aspler 20th Anniversary Wine Tour to Tuscany

It’s been 12 years since we last visited this gorgeous region and even then we barely scratched the surface on a combined tour with Umbria. This tour also marks the 20th anniversary of our inaugural Aspler Tour in 2006 (to Piemonte, Veneto and Tuscany), so we want to do this one in grand style.

Accommodations: Our hotel for the first three nights of the tour will be the beautiful Grand Hotel Continental in the heart of the lovely town of Siena. This 5-star property in a converted 17th century palazzo is without debate Siena’s top hotel address, and the perfect base to explore the wine regions of nearby Montalcino, Montelpulciano and the Colle di Val d’Elsa. The final three nights of the tour will be spent in the stunningly gorgeous COMO Castello del Nero. This exceptional 5-star resort is situated on a 740 acre estate property. It houses fifty rooms throughout a 12th century castle in the heart of the Chianti Classico DOC, approximately 30 minutes south of Florence with a Michelin restaurant on site. Tony is already working his magic to arrange VIP visits with various of the leading wine estates throughout the region, including Antinori and Frescobaldi, where we anticipate red carpet treatment.
